There are few pleasures as wonderful as sitting close by the sea looking at one of the most iconic views in the world, which is one of the reasons Petits Fours is so popular.

This tiny old cottage nestled in a tiny bay in Blouberg has long been a place visitors make a beeline for when visiting. The locals love it as well and it is very popular with the ladies who lunch and their friends. Many a friendship is maintained by regular visits to this charming little space, especially for some of the irresistible cakes and pastries on offer.
Sitting outside is numero uno but the interior has its charms, especially when the wind comes up. That is when you will find hardy tourists braving the elements as they get their one crack at it. The locals usually hunker down, order some bubbly and unwind—in style.
Breakfasts are particularly popular with generous portions and high taste combinations like classic Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, health breakfasts with yoghurt and homemade granola, Croque Madame with ham and mustard or go for broke with Brooklyn meets Blouberg, two vet koek sloppy joe burgers topped with mince sauce, fried egg and cheddar—ouch!
Lunch brings great salads as fresh as can be with meat or chicken added, generous burgers with all the trimmings, pastas with smoked salmon or pork belly, various grills, or try a gourmet sandwich with meat or veggie fillings. The wine list is reasonable, service is friendly and on the ball, making it all go with a swing.
