Be a Chef for a Day at the Greenhouse Cellars Hohenhort

If you have ever longed to get into one of the top kitchens in the country and ‘do your thing,’ now is the moment you have been waiting for.

Words by Greg Landman

Those imaginative people at The Greenhouse at Cellars Hohenhort in Constantia are launching a program in which people can spend a day with them at various work stations in their kitchens and be tutored in doing the right thing. The Chef for a Day will work either for a full or half day and then be able to eat the dishes concocted either at a 4 course lunch sitting or at a 12 course extravaganza at dinner. Famed Chefs Peter Tempelhoff and Ashley Moss will share some of their secrets with participants during the time they are there. Sounds like a fabulous way for couples to spend some quality time or for a small group of friends who love to cook.

Due to the highly personalised and hands on kitchen experience of CHEF FOR A DAY, there are only two spaces available per day over weekends (Friday & Saturday).

Cost per person: R1,600 Half day & R2,400 Full day
