The Muratie Wine Estate in Stellenbosch is steeped in history—one that goes back centuries.
Words by Greg Landman
One feels when visiting that you have stepped back in time—it is almost like a movie set and one looks around for the cameras. Here too you will find the MOK Art Gallery run by Cecile Blevi who is passionate about art, as one should be or stay at home and take up knitting.
The exhibition is housed in one of the ancient cottages at Muratie and one wil always find something interesting to look at here. The current exhibition features work by Sandra Hanekom and Lisa Wilson and the one that will be opening 25th March features work by Roelof Rossouw.
Definitely well worth taking some time off from the hurly-burly of life and getting a small dose of something really special—and very uplifting.
