Haute Cabrière hits the road with Pop-Up dining

One of the very best restaurants in Franschhoek – an area that is known for great food – is the one at Haute Cabrière. The view is great but dining in the vaulted room carved into the mountain is an experience not to be missed. Overlooking the cellars in which thousands of bottles of superb wine are busy maturing, the feeling of being elsewhere is all pervasive. Not only that, but the food is superb, unfussy, packed with flavour and not tweaked into a coma. The chefs behind this magic are Nic van Wyk and Westley Muller who are definitely going places – literally – as this winter they are repeating the successful Pop-Up events throughout the country.
