10 Year Old Raises R100 000 for Orphaned Rhino

The story of 10 year old Hunter Mitchell will undoubtedly warm your heart.

Most of us were playing around in the dirt when we were 10 years old, but this little man has raised well over R100 000 for an orphaned rhino called Ostina. Hunter was inspired to raise all of this money after seeing photographs of young Ostina struggling to cope with life after the passing of his mother.

It started simple enough. Hunter decided to donate his pocket money, which inspired his friends and family to do the same. He also turned to social media to get more people to join the cause.

This led to him becoming an ambassador for the Saving Private Rhino organisation.

He recently took his cause international via Skype and has reached as far as Japan, telling other kids about the plight of the rhinos.

Watch the video below to see the amazing relationship between Hunter and Ostina.
