Planet Earth first appeared on our TV screens a decade ago and now it’s back in a big way.
It was widely regarded as a turning point for nature documentaries, some critics even going as far as calling it the best TV show ever made.
The sequel to the original, Planet Earth II, is currently running BBC Earth (Channel 184) on DSTV and the episode focusing on grasslands is on tonight at 20:29.
The series is narrated by the legendary Sir David Attenborough, while the music was composed by Hans Zimmer, who won an Academy Award for The Lion King in 1995.
Planet Earth II is the most expensive documentary ever made, and its production spanned nearly 10 years.
The result is definitely worth it though. For a small sample of what you can expect, watch the trailer below.
