It’s estimated that 10% of the planet’s population has some form of kidney disease, but the most shocking figure has to do with kidney disease prevention.

Around 70-80% of kidney failure can easily be prevented by being aware of the symptoms and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In South Africa, around 60% of chronic kidney disease stems from Hypertension, while an additional 20% is down to Type 2 Diabetes.
