Ingredients

  • 4 whole bananas
  • 125g sugar
  • 300ml cream
  • 50g butter
  • 1 vanilla pod, scraped

Instructions

Place the sugar in a non-stick pan and cook to a light caramel. Pour in the cream and allow the sugar to dissolve. Stir in the vanilla and butter, remove from heat and allow to cool. Bake the whole bananas over the coals until the skins split. Eat the bananas out of the skins with the caramel sauce and your favorite ice cream.
