Glenshiel Christmas Fair

31 October-3 November, Johannesburg

Find gifts galore with more than 70 stalls offering items, from bags, shoes, belts and jewellery, to handcrafted decorations, cakes, cookies and crackers. There’s a gala preview evening on 31 October when, after shopping, you can enjoy food and drink under the stars in the stately grounds of the Westcliff heritage property.

Browse locally made arts and crafts at a variety of stalls under the trees at The Big Red Barn on Sunlawns Estate. Usually held on the first and last Saturday of the month, more dates are scheduled in the lead-up to Christmas, so you can get your shopping done early.

Clansthal Conservancy Christmas Craft Market

To help raise funds for the Clansthal Conservancy, residents Keith and Liz Cunningham will host a Christmas Craft Market at their home on 8 December. It’ll be a lovely afternoon in their garden where you can peruse the stalls of different crafters. The craft market is on from 9 am until 2 pm at 111 Pig & Whistle Drive, Clansthal. Because Keith and Liz have their own dogs, they’ve asked if you could leave yours at home for the day.
