Our Facebook stream has been raving about this. We received this from a reader in Knysna. This gorgeous and engaging snap was taken on a cell phone! A terrific reminder that photography is about you – you can do amazing things with a good eye, a sense of adventure and, very often, a spot of luck.
Here’s how Tony Cook Adventures explained the snap:
“Our guide, Ricky Jantjies, took this picture from his cell phone at Goukamma River mouth on Sunday 20th October 2013. Spring low tide and a 30 knot south easterly gale sculpted these amazing “sand castles”. They were about 20cm high and were gone by the next day. The right place at the right time. Well done Ricky!!”
Well done, indeed!
