As we can all agree, these are strange days. As a result of the Covid-19 lockdown, and to keep the printing and distribution staff out of harm’s way, Caxton Magazines has decided not to print the May issue of Country Life.
However, the April issue will still be on the shelves at most supermarkets until the end of this month. If you aren’t able to get to the shops, we’re offering 70% discount on a digital copy of the April issue, which you can obtain by clicking on this link. Plus you can get a 50% discount on digital subscriptions to all Caxton titles.
Subscribers should not be concerned that they are missing out as all subscriptions will be extended by one month.
Some of you may have recently received an invitation to download our magazine from a WhatsApp group. Please be aware that this is illegal to do so. Like most businesses, we rely on sales to remain financially viable, but if our magazines are freely shared, we don’t get the sales and at just R13.50 for the real copy, we would dearly appreciate it if you could go that route.
We know that many of you look forward to your monthly fix of stories from the back roads of South Africa, so we are uploading many more stories to our website to keep you in touch with the heart of the countryside. Hopefully, these will allow you to familiarise yourself with all the little businesses that will need help and plan your road trips for when this all ends.
So come armchair travel with us.
